How to Add Photos to Your Listing

A step-by-step guide for adding, replacing, and managing photos on your EDJ Online equipment listings. Works on desktop and mobile.

Before you start — quick checklist

  • You are logged in to your EDJ Online account
  • Your listing has already been created (photos are added after posting)
  • Photos are JPG, PNG, or WebP format
  • Each photo is under 10 MB in file size
  • You have fewer than 5 photos on the listing already (maximum is 5)
1

Go to your Dashboard

After logging in, click your name or the menu in the top-right corner of the site and select My Dashboard.

You will see a list of all your active listings.

Direct link: https://edjonline.com/dashboard
2

Open your listing

Find the listing you want to add photos to. Click the listing title or the View button to open the full listing page.

You need to be on the listing detail page — photos cannot be added from the dashboard list view.

3

Click "Manage Photos"

Scroll down the listing page until you see the photo gallery section. Because you are the owner and logged in, you will see a Manage Photos button with a camera icon.

Click it to open the photo management panel below the gallery.

If you do not see the Manage Photos button, make sure you are logged in with the same account you used to post the listing.
4

Select your photos

The panel has two tabs — make sure Upload is selected (not "Paste URL").

Once selected, small previews of your chosen photos will appear in the upload box.

On a computer

Click the dashed upload box. A file browser will open. Navigate to your photos, select one or more (hold Ctrl or ⌘ to select multiple), then click Open.

On a phone or tablet

Tap the dashed upload box. Your device will ask whether to use your Camera or Photo Library. Choose Photo Library to pick existing photos, or Camera to take a new one on the spot.

5

Click "Add photo" to upload

After selecting your photos, click the Add photo button (or Add X photos if you selected multiple).

A progress indicator will show Uploading 1/2… etc. Wait for it to finish — do not close the page or navigate away during the upload. When complete, your new photos will appear immediately in the gallery above.

Uploads are processed one at a time. A large photo (8–10 MB) may take 10–20 seconds on a slower connection — this is normal.
6

Repeat for additional photos

You can add up to 5 photos total per listing. Repeat steps 4–5 for each additional photo.

Once you reach 5 photos, the upload area will be replaced with a message saying the maximum has been reached. To add a new photo at that point, you must delete one first.

How to delete a photo

  1. 1.Open your listing detail page (same as Step 2 above).
  2. 2.Click Manage Photos to open the photo panel.
  3. 3.In the current photos grid, hover over (or tap) the photo you want to remove.
  4. 4.Click the red trash icon that appears on the photo.
  5. 5.The photo is removed immediately. You can now add a replacement.

Troubleshooting

The "Manage Photos" button does not appear

You must be logged in with the same account that posted the listing. Log out and log back in, then try again.

Upload button stays greyed out after selecting a file

The file may be in HEIC format (common on iPhones). Open the photo in your Photos app, tap Share → Save as JPEG, then try uploading the JPEG version.

Upload fails or shows an error

Check the file size — photos must be under 10 MB each. Also try a different browser (Chrome is most reliable). If on mobile Safari, try Chrome for iOS instead.

Photo uploads but shows as a broken image

Refresh the page after uploading. If the image still does not appear, delete it and re-upload.

"Maximum 5 photos reached" message

Delete at least one existing photo first (see the Delete section above), then you can add a new one.

Page freezes or spins for a long time

Large photos (over 5 MB) can take 15–30 seconds to compress and upload on a slow connection. Wait it out before refreshing. If it spins for more than 2 minutes, refresh and try again with a smaller file.
